The BYD Care® NIOSH Disposable N95 Respirator is designed to help provide respiratory protection for whoever is using it. This means that, like many of the masks that we sell, we had your health and wellness in mind while making it. This product has a filter efficiency of 95% or greater against solid and liquid aerosols free of oil, making it highly efficient in protecting you from illnesses and protecting others from your germs.

Product Details

The BYD Care® NIOSH Disposable N95 Respirator consists of three layers to help make it efficient and useful to the wearer. Both the inner layer and outer layer are made of polypropylene spun-bond non-woven fabric. This kind of non-woven fabric is made when polyester is bonded together to create a very consistent web of materials that helps to keep particles from passing through. In addition to these two layers, the middle consists of polypropylene melt-blown non-woven and hot air cotton.

The BYD Care® NIOSH Disposable N95 Respirator is NIOSH approved and is recognized as model DE2322. It is NIOSH approved for greater than 95% particle filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols. The woven fabrics help limit exposure to airborne illnesses, and they work together, along with the fit of the mask, to provide the ultimate protection.

There is an aluminum nose clip in the mask to help form the mask better to the shape of your face. This gives you additional protection as fewer gaps allow for particles to make their way into the mask. The ear bands are a polyester/nylon blend and fully wrap around the head for a close fit. This mask is meant to stay secure on your face to create a very tight seal. It’s a very lightweight mask and is disposable, so you make sure to change out your mask frequently.

You might notice that the lot number shown in the picture on the mask may not be the same as what you receive. This is normal because the lot number will differ from time to time. Your mask will be the same and provide the same amount of protection regardless of this number, so do not fret!
